Andy Spade, the name behind the Jack Spade men’s fashion brand and husband to the iconic Kate Spade, tours his 19th-century Southampton manor house. The Spade family now live in the home that once housed the Shinnecock Hills Summer School, a painting academy run by William Merritt Chase who founded the Parsons School. Spade has very democratic taste in art, ranging from Julian Schnabel originals to faux Picassos and Pollacks found at flea markets. This is the way to collect art, for the love of it, rather than the monetary value.
